Neighbourhood Plan Press Release

Development in Lyneham and Bradenstoke

Have your say!

You are invited to give your views in a community survey to further the work of the Lyneham and Bradenstoke Neighbourhood Plan.

The Neighbourhood Plan, led by the Parish Council, which has already included a number of consultations and events, is reaching a critical stage in its development. It needs input from the community to add further information.

Neighbourhood Planning is a government initiative to involve local people in land use planning, and it provides an opportunity for local people to have their say on future development in the area. When it is complete will become part of the documents which govern planning in the area; because of this, it is vital local people make their voice heard.

Chairman of the Parish Council, Geoff Jackson-Haines said, “It is absolutely vital that this document expresses the views of the local people of the area and that is why this stage is so critical.”

A Neighbourhood Plan is likely to cover housing, transport, shopping, working, environment and health / leisure for the communities of Lyneham and Bradenstoke.

The online and paper survey will be available for the community to give their views between April 1st 2018 and 14th May 2018.  To complete the online survey, follow the link below:
